Specialty tereré and maté on Satoshi Way

A small tereré and maté shop in Asunción. Loose yerba, guampas and bombillas, and a Nostr meetup every Tuesday at 8pm.

What we mean by specialty tereré and maté

Specialty yerba is yerba that has been graded for quality and traced back to a specific farm, region and harvest, rather than blended to taste the same everywhere. It is dried and aged to show what is in the leaf instead of hiding it. That is the yerba we serve, for tereré and for maté.

Tereré is drunk cold. The yerba goes into a guampa, iced water or pressed fruit juice is poured over it, and you drink through a bombilla. The leaf is topped up all afternoon. Maté is the same leaf brewed hot in a gourd, and it is usually a shorter, warmer round.

We also serve specialty coffee, for all you hipster nomads reading this (pun intended). Yerba first, flat white second.

Nostr meetup

Every Tuesday at 8pm

We host a Nostr meetup in the shop every Tuesday evening. Come along whether you are deep in it or just curious. There is no programme and no sign-up, just tereré and conversation.
